Community Easter Sunrise Service
The Wolfsville community Easter sunrise service is hosted by five area churches on a rotating basis. The schedule is as follows:
2026 – Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church 7:00 a.m.
2027 – St. John’s Lutheran Church
2028 – Salem Community Church “Pavilion”, Wolfsville
2029 – St. Mark’s Lutheran Church
2030 – Grossnickle Church of the Brethren
The Wolfsville Ruritan Club usually serves refreshments following the service.
Community Vacation Bible School
The Wolfsville Community Vacation Bible School is usually hosted in July by three area churches on a rotating basis… Salem Community Church, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, and Grossnickle Church of the Brethren. Evening classes are held for one week, from Monday to Friday. All children from the entire community are welcome regardless of their church affiliation. The schedule is as follows:
2026 – Grossnickle Church of the Brethren
2027 – St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Wolfsville
2028 – Salem Community Church, Wolfsville
Community Thanksgiving Service
The Wolfsville community Thanksgiving service is hosted by six area churches on a rotating basis. The schedule is as follows:
2026 – Garfield United Methodist Church
2027 – St. Mark’s Lutheran Church
2028 – Salem Community Church, Wolfsville
2029 – Grossnickle Church of the Brethren
2030 – Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church
2031 – Harmony/St. John’s Lutheran Parish
NOTE: The Wolfsville/Myersville CROP Hunger Walk was discontinued in 2023. Other churches were given the opportunity to host the event, which was usually held the last Sunday in September, but none were interested.
