WHAT IS HEROES’ CLUB?
Heroes’ Club is a Biblically-centered club for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Meeting every Monday afternoon when Frederick County has school, from school dismissal to 5:30 p.m., we will look at trust, courage, forgiveness, obedience and love through the eyes of our Biblical heroes. Students will move between snack time, play time, a Bible story and activity, and homework time. Growing closer to one another and closer to God, students will gain greater self-confidence and grow in their faith, looking upon themselves as the Heroes they are!
HOW DOES MY CHILD GET TO HEROES’ CLUB?
Leaders from Heroes’ Club will meet students on Monday afternoons at dismissal of Wolfsville Elementary School. Students will be signed-in to Heroes’ Club and walked to Salem Community Church. All students will remain on church property until parents or other authorized persons pick them up. If your child does not go to Wolfsville Elementary School, but would like to attend Heroes’ Club, drop off at Salem begins at 3:45 p.m.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HEROES’ CLUB WHILE MY CHILD IS THERE?
To contact your child, or to speak to the staff while Heroes’ Club is in session, please call the Salem Church phone at 301-293-1799.
WHERE DO I PICK UP MY CHILD?
Students need to be picked up and signed out from Salem Church by 5:30 p.m. on Monday afternoons in the church social room. Adult supervision will be provided from 5:30-6:00 p.m. if a later pick-up time is required. The adult picking up a student must be listed on the Heroes’ Club Student Registration and will be asked to show a photo identification.

Registration forms are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. When the maximum number of children is reached, a waiting list will be established.
